निवडणूक आयोगाकडून जाहीर करण्यात आलेला कलर वोटर आयडी कार्ड नागरिकांसाठी खूपच महत्त्वाचं कागदपत्र असून या कागदपत्राच्या माध्यमातून नागरिकांची मतदाता ओळखपत्र म्हणून ओळख होते. त्यांना निवडणुकीत मतदान करण्याची परवानगी दिली जाते. मतदान कार्ड नागरिकांची वैयक्तिक माहिती, ज्यामध्ये त्यांच संपूर्ण नाव, पत्ता, वय आणि फोटो इत्यादींचा समावेश असतो.

1. मतदानाचा हक्क : EPIC मतदार कार्ड तुमच्याकडे असेल, तर तुम्हाला निवडणूक प्रक्रियेत मतदान करण्याचा अधिकार दिला जातो. तुम्हाला देशाच्या लोकशाही प्रक्रिया सहभाग नोंदवून तुमच्या वैयक्तिक विचार सरणीनुसार मतदान करता येतो.
2. ओळख प्रमाणपत्र : ओळख प्रमाणित करण्यासाठी आधार कार्ड प्रमाणेच EPIC मतदार कार्डचा वापर केला जातो. कारण यावरती तुमचे नाव, व पत्ता आणि फोटो इत्यादी माहिती दिलेली असते. ज्यामुळे तुम्हाला तुमचं नागरिकत्व सिद्ध करता येऊन तुमच्या ओळखीचा पुरावा प्रधान करता येतो.
3. शासकीय योजनामधील फायदे : शासनाकडून सुरू करण्यात आलेल्या विविध शासकीय योजनांमध्ये मतदान कार्ड महत्त्वाचे भूमिका बजावतो. मतदान कार्ड असल्यामुळे सरकारी योजना मिळविण्यास नागरिकांना जलद सुविधा उपलब्ध होते. गृहनिर्माण योजना, आर्थिक सहाय्य योजना, विमा योजना इत्यादीमध्ये मतदान कार्डचा उपयोग केला जातो.

कलर मतदान कार्ड खालीलप्रमाणे डाऊनलोड करा
- कलर व्होटर आयडी कार्ड ऑनलाईन डाउनलोड करण्यासाठी सर्वप्रथम तुम्हाला भारतीय निवडणूक आयोगाच्या अधिकृत वेबसाईटला भेट द्यावी लागेल.
- वेबसाईटवर आल्यानंतर सर्वप्रथम तुम्हाला Sign Up या पर्यायावर क्लिक करून स्वतःची नोंदणी करावी लागेल.
- नोंदणी करत असताना तुमचं नाव, मतदान ओळखपत्र क्रमांक, मोबाईल क्रमांक आणि पासवर्ड टाकावा लागेल.
- नोदणी पूर्ण झाल्यानंतर पोर्टलवर देण्यात आलेल्या लॉगिन बटनावर क्लिक करून तुमचा वापर करता आयडी पासवर्ड टाकून लॉगिन करा.
- लॉगिन केल्यानंतर तुम्हाला e-EPIC Download या पर्यायावर क्लिक करावे लागेल.
- आता e-EPIC क्रमांक/फॉर्म संदर्भ क्रमांक दोनपैकी एका पर्यायावर टिक करा. तुमचा एक क्रमांक टाकून राज्य निवडा आणि शोधा बटणावर क्लिक करा.
- थोड्याच वेळात तुमच्या मतदार ओळखपत्रात लिंक केलेल्या मोबाईलवर किंवा ई-मेल आयडीवर ओटीपी पाठवण्यात येईल, ओटीपी टाकून पडताळणी करा.
- आता तुमच्यासमोर ही वोटर कार्ड दिसेल, डाउनलोड बटणावर क्लिक करून कलर वोटर कार्ड डाउनलोड करून घ्या. डाउनलोड केलेला e-EPIC मतदान कार्ड तुम्ही कुठेही वापरू शकता.
